She created curateEAT out of a love to bring new food experiences to Melburnians. Sharlee recently founded Fully Booked a social community for women in the food and wine industry.
Fully Booked is a social community for women in the food and wine industry. We run regular events that aim to encourage and support engagement, connection and collaboration between the talented up-and-comers and the wise warriors among us.
Events so far have included a dinner with Jo Barrett at The Green at St Columbs, with wines by Oakridge and De Bortoli and tea from tea lady Hannah Dupree of Storm in a Tea Cup. Fully Booked #2 was a screening of the movie Burnt, followed by a cheese tasting with Olivia Sutton from Harper & Blohm, hospitality from Bronwyn Kabboord at Merricote and wines by Tahbilk. Fully Booked #3, we went Italiano with Nicky Riemer, Jenna Abbuzzese and Wines of the King Valley. Fully Booked #4, cocktail night at Romeo Lane with smokin’ hot bartenders Rita Ambroz & Rebecca Baker, food by Maria Kabal of Anada. and personal branding tips from speaker Felicity Watson. Fully Booked #5 was a Yarra Valley road trip, visiting Yarra Valley Dairy, Four Pillars Gin and finishing with a long lunch on the Healesville railway platform by YV Refreshments and Caroline Gray.

7 June | FB Skills: Dumplings | 6.30-10pm
The first in our series of Fully Booked Skills Workshops, introducing the lovely nimble fingered Angie Chong to teach us how to make dumplings like a boss! Angie has a family rich in dumpling tradition with her grandfather William Wing Young a pioneer in dim sim cooking and her mother the legendary Elizabeth Chong. Add to that 20 years teaching Asian cookery and we have a dumpling master.
In this hands-on workshop Angie will show us how to make doughs, fillings and sauces and then we sit down to a dumpling dinner.
